University of Chicago men's basketball player Bryce Hopkins was selected as a representative on the newly-formed NABC Division III Student-Athlete Development Coalition.
The Student-Athlete Development Coalition will provide direct feedback to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on a variety of national issues that impact the sport. The coalition is comprised of one representative from each of the 10 Division III regions.
A junior forward for the Maroons, Hopkins played in all 25 games of his debut season in 2019-20. He averaged 8.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting 50.6 percent from the field and 37.0 percent from three-point range. The 2020-21 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
