The Violets then clinched the match with straight-set singles victories by #3 Joseph He (6-4, 6-3), #4 Rumaish Khastgir (7-6, 6-1) and #5 Andy Watterson (6-3, 6-0).

"It was nice to cap off the season with a victory," said Head Coach Horace Choy. "Our signature all season has been to battle to the end. We saw that the first two days of the UAA's and we saw it again today. Rochester played hard, as an upset win against us would have would have made their season. We had enough guys step up and ensure that wasn't going to happen."
