Spartans Finish Second at All-Ohio Championships

The Case Western Reserve University men's track and field team competed at the 2020 All-Ohio Indoor Championships at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio on Saturday.

The Spartan men finished second out of 17 teams with 84 points.

Junior Trey Razanauskas highlighted the Spartans performances, as he placed first in the 5,000-meter run. Razanauskas claimed the title in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:55.27. In addition, first-year Jack Begley placed third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:07.41, while senior Grant McCarthy finished fifth with a time of 15:07.76.

The men's distance medley relay team of senior Jonathan Haling, senior Michael Hradesky, sophomore Logan Singer and first-year Joe Jaster claimed a second-place finish in the event with a time of 10:24.19. Haling and Hradesky also teamed with senior Dominic Oddo and first-year Keith Roberts in the 4x400-meter relay to place fourth with a time of 3;27.29.

Hradesky earned a second-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:57.99, while senior David Hall finished second in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:46.14. Oddo registered a third-place finish in the long jump (6.89m) and junior Jordan Butler placed fifth in the long jump (6.61m).

Additionally, Butler finished fourth in the triple jump (13.43m), Singer placed fourth in the mile-run (4:22.06) and Jaster finished fifth in the mile-run (4:27.84).
