Carnegie Mellon University sophomore Colin McLaughlin placed eighth in the 403-runner field at the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational on Friday. He covered the eight-kilometer Brown Race course in 24:12.0 to lead the Tartans to the title in the 45-team field.
