No. 7 WashU Golf Wins Montgomery Women's Intercollegiate Against Strong Field

The No. 7 Washington University in St. Louis golf team won the 2022 Montgomery Women's Intercollegiate on Monday afternoon after two days of play, finishing with a team score of 579.
 
Additionally, sophomore Sydney Kuo carded the top score of the weekend with a 136.
 
The tournament was held at the Montgomery Country Club, which is a par 72 course spanning 5,613 yards.
 
The Bears went into the final day tied for first with a 291 and came out on day two to shoot a 288 to win the field by four strokes.
 
Individually, Kuo took first after shooting a 70 on day one and a tournament-low 66 on day two for the score of 136.
 
First-year Tatum Choi also finished in the top five, ending in a four-way tie for fourth with a two-day score of 144 after shooting a 71 on day two.
 
Senior Annie Mascot tied for 10th with a total score of 147 after carding a 75 on day two. First-year Tiffany Chan shot a 76 on day two for a 152. Sophomore McKensey Kaseta rounded out the Bears' team tied for 53rd overall.
