Inside The Box Score

  • Junior Cecelia Dieterich opened the scoring with a header in the 13th minute following the Tartans second corner kick of the half.
  • Freshman Helena Locatelli served the corner kick to the six-yard box where Calvin's freshman keeper Kalex Dodge punched it in the air but Dieterich was there to head the ball over Dodge and the defense for the score.

  • Eight minutes into the second half, seniors Helena Spencer and Alex Adams connected for a goal by Adams at the near post.
  • The Knights made the home crowd nervous in the 57th minute when the ball was headed around the box after a corner kick but the Tartans were able to momentarily clear it before Rory Pruis fired a shot from straight on outside the 18-yard box just over the bar.
  • Senior Olivia Brand made her only save of the game in the 68th minute when Emma Thompson put a shot on frame through traffic but was easily stopped by Brand who earned her fourth shutout of the season and team's 11th.
