UChicago Scores Four in Win over Kalamazoo

University of Chicago's women's soccer program cruised to a 4-1 win over Kalamazoo College on Saturday.
 
Both sides were held off the board for the first 30 minutes, but a flurry of goals for UChicago before halftime had the Maroons in front 3-0. UChicago added one early in the second half and, despite conceding late, finished off a 4-1 win to stay undefeated in 2023.
 
Ella Cho opened the scoring with two goals in a shot span. Josie Majowka added the third before halftime. Hannah Rittenhouse rounded out the scoring in the 56th to put the Maroons ahead 4-0.
 
As a team, the Maroons racked up 26 shots, 12 on target, while holding its opponents to three shots, two on goal. Sophie Pilarski and Sophia Sasaki combined for the win in goal.
