Emory Shines on Final Day of Lee Flames Invitational

The Emory University track & field team shined on the final day of the Lee Flames Invitational as multiple athletes recorded nationally ranked performances in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Senior Spencer Moore registered the third fastest time in program history in the 3,000m steeplechase as he logged a time of 9:06.53, which also stands as the fourth fastest time in Division III this season. Junior Dawit Dean registered a top-20 national time in the 800m run as he placed second with a time of 1:53.37, the 19th best mark this season. Junior Spencer Watry also competed in the 800m run placing fourth after posting a time of 1:54.33. Freshman Henry Brandstadter returned to the field and recorded a second place finish in the high jump after hitting a height of 6.88m.
