Abigail Wilkov Earns of CWRU Third Career All-America Honors on Third Day of NCAA Championships

Sophomore diver Abigail Wilkov earned her third career All-America honor for the Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team on the third day of 2023 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Friday.

Wilkov placed seventh in the one-meter dive event, scoring 402.65 points in the final. With the top eight finish, she became the first diver in program history of any gender to earn All-America honors in the event. Wilkov also became the first multiple-time First Team All-American diver in program history after she placed seventh in the three-meter dive at the 2022 NCAA Championships. In addition, on Wednesday, she placed 10th in the three-meter dive, earning an All-America honorable mention.

Earlier in the day, Wilkov scored 400.30 in the prelims, qualifying for the championship final with the eighth-best mark among the 29 divers.

Four Spartans also competed in the 800-yard freestyle relay: sophomore swimmers Gabriella Chambers and Angeli Paull and first-year swimmers Eliza Dixon and Claire Kozma. The relay placed 21st with a time of 7:46.69.

Through three days of the four day competition, Case Western Reserve is in 24th place with 19 points.
