Abigail Wilkov of CWRU Places 10th in Three-Meter Dive on First Day of NCAA Championship

Sophomore diver Abigail Wilkov earned her second career national top 10 finish, placing 10th in the three-meter dive for the Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team on the first day of the 2023 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.

With the 10th place finish, Wilkov will earn All-America honorable mention honors in the event, becoming the first diver of any gener in program history to earn multiple All-America honors. She finished seventh in the three-meter dive last season to earn All-America First Team honors. 

Wilkov had the ninth-highest score in the prelims, missing the championship final by 1.40 points with a mark of 407.45. In the consolation final, she posted the second-best mark, scoring 414.10 points.

Sophomore swimmers Gabriella Chambers and Angeli Paull and first-year swimmers Eliza Dixon and Claire Kozma also competed on the first day of the championship in the 200-yard medley relay. The relay placed 30th with a time of 1:49.69.

The Spartans are in 23rd place after the first day of competition with seven points.
