The Emory University women's tennis doubles team of senior Christina Watson and sophomore Ana Cristina Perez has advanced to the national quarterfinals at the NCAA Individual Championships Friday night at the UTSA National Campus in Orlando, FL.

In the final match of the day, Watson and Perez knocked off the No. 4 seed Maria Lyven/Nina Ye from Pomona-Pitzer by a score of 6-2, 6-3 and will advance to oppose Tufts' Elle Christensen/Tilly Rigby Saturday afternoon in round of eight. The Christensen/Rigby tandem is coming off a first round win over Kenyon's Daria Beshentseva/Eleni Dakos 6-1, 6-1.
